My deepest apologies for not blogging lately. Honestly, I’ve had a bout of bad health, finals, and I’ve been out and about shopping and what not. But I’ve finished college for this semester and I have all my gifts purchased and wrapped! Now you probably want to know why JCP is tempting me this month.
This December JCP is having a wonderful little giveaway of sorts. You go to the store and get these Christmas pins. You don’t have to purchase anything; you can simply ask a sales associate for some.
It’s just a simple button with some type of Christmas scene or image on it. I’ve even got one with a turkey leg. On the back is a code that you enter here. After that you will receive an e-mail telling you if you have won!
The prizes include gift certificates, merchandise, and even a trip somewhere. I have won $40 worth of gift certificates thus far. With them I bought a pair of skinny jeggings, panties, and a cute owl hat.
So what is this madness? Once you win some type of coupon, such as $10 off a $10 or more purchase (like I keep getting), you will go in to purchase something. Either you will get it for free or will spend a few bucks on something more expensive. Either way, you’re putting money back into the store.
Then you will receive more pins and more opportunities to win! Once you win again the cycle repeats. It’s quite brilliant on JCP’s part even though they made that big change and started loosing business. I really enjoy that I get little holiday buttons and I can win some gift certificates in the process.
There’s a slim chance I would be going shopping in this store without these coupons or pins to keep my going back. I can’t pass up an excellent deal. Jeans for $7, a hat for $4, and three panties for $2. Plus I still have $10 waiting to be used!
Get thee to a JCP and get some Christmas pins! This event is going on until Christmas Eve. It’s the perfect thing to get some gifts on the cheap (or free)!
