After much thought and Youtube videos I decided how I would fix my hot roots and my hair color. Today I went to Sally’s Beauty to pick up some things with the intent of using my $5 off coupon. My choice was going to be a neutral protein filler to fix my porous hair and give me an even color as well as some damage protection. I also wanted to get Ion Demi Permanent in Medium Ash Blonde.
Of course they were all out of this color and Ion has no other ash tones in demi. I was going to go with Clariol’s demi but upon checking it got HORRIBLE reviews so I was out of luck. Maybe the L’Oreal Color Gems? No. Then I remember Wella had a demi-permanent line. I chose Medium Ash Blonde.
Wella Demi Dye and Neutral Protein Filler
I got this color because I read demi dyes tend to run a few shades darker. My goal is a dark blonde or light brown with no hot roots! With my coupon I only paid about $2 and some change. The dye says the Wella Conditioning Lotion is supposed to be used with this dye but I opted not to get it since I have 10v and 20v developer at home.
